North Island Boat Company is a full service boat maintenance and repair company, servicing the greater Puget Sound area. North Island Boat Company was founded by Paul Schweiss in 1986 in response to a very real need in the boating community for quality craftsmanship offered with integrity. Our mission was simple: communicate openly and honestly with our clients, explain what we believe is right for their boat and why, deliver quality at a fair price and above all else, respect our customers.

 

 

That tradition and our customer-driven orientation continues today at North Island Boat. NIB has grown into a full service marine repair and maintenance facility. Our seasoned, well-trained staff provide individualized mechanical and electrical service, carpentry and classic boat restoration, and paint and fiberglass repair. We have been the authorized dealer for Yanmar marine engines in the Anacortes area since 1991 and are one of the largest Yanmar marine dealers in the Northwest. In 2003, North Island Boat Company was acquired by Resolute Industries, Inc. 

 

 

In 2006, NIB was selected to join the new owners of Skyline Marina in transforming Skyline into the premier marina and marine services provider in the Pacific Northwest.  North Island Boat is now the lead service and repair facility at Skyline Marina.
